Amy Winehouse was forced on stage by her British bodyguards for her much-criticised performance in Belgrade on Saturday (June 18th), according to reports. Ana Zoe Kida, a member of Winehouse’s support band Zemlja Gruva, claims that the intoxicated singer was struggling to avoid the performance, but was eventually pushed onto the stage area by her bodyguards.

Previously, Berkshire three-piece The Good Natured have drawn comparisons to the likes of La Roux and Ladytron, thanks to their winning combination of infectious electro-pop with frontwoman Sarah McIntosh’s enchanting vocals. On this occasion however, for the title and lead track on their new EP ‘Skeleton’ – incidentally, their first release on a major label – The Good Natured have chosen what feels like a post-punk quality, more akin to the likes of indie-rockers Maximo Park. However, the haunting guitar intro and thundering drums soon give way to a rather more effervescent and catchy pop chorus, which bears similarity to a host of ‘80s dance tracks and hears McIntosh at her most melodic.

Canadian punk band Fucked Up have released a bizarre new video to their track ‘Queen of Hearts’, which also happens to be their first-ever music video. See below to watch the re-imagining of the song, which was filmed in a remote schoolhouse in northern Ontario. ‘Queen of Hearts’ is taken from Fucked Up’s new album ‘David Comes to Life’, which recently charted in the UK upon its release.

I'll be honest, I don't often listen to Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show, but something tells me that fate bought me & Dermot together last week when he had new boy Marcus Foster (pictured, below) on his show performing a couple of tracks. Randomly tuning into Radio 2 and being instantly drawn to the voice, I did a bit of investigating to find out who he was, and exactly a week later I was sat in the most intimate gig I've ever been to, discovering two amazing talents that I'm so glad didn't pass me by.

Evanescence have discussed their upcoming studio effort, claiming that the follow-up to their 2006 LP ‘The Open Door’ is more of a “collaborative” process than their previous records. The band are currently finishing the recording in Nashville, and have given the untitled LP a predicted release date of October 4th.

Jazz superstar Jamie Cullum marks a year of his hugely popular BBC Radio 2 show this week while taking over the coveted Chris Evans breakfast show slot for one hour, and for one morning only. The station will be switching the DJs around for just 12 hours this Wednesday, June 22nd, for ‘2DAY’ and Jamie will leave his Tuesday evening slot behind to wake up the nation on the breakfast show and kicks-off 2DAY at 7am with Sony Award winning Simon Mayo for one hour with guests, chat and personally selected music choices as well as a look ahead to the day’s programmes. Jamie Cullum and Simon Mayo are part of three pairings of DJs that will host Chris Evans’ Breakfast show an hour each from 7am through until 10am.
